Short Notes for Class 5 EVS Chapter 12 What if it Finishes

Materials (resources) are the focus of the article. Fuels are substances that produce energy when they are burned. Fuels include biogas, fossil fuels, nuclear energy, etc. Moreover, human activities deplete fuel resources rapidly. Thus, fuel conservation is one of humanity's biggest concerns. Fuels are also available in various types around the world. There are three types of fuel: solid fuels, liquid fuels, and gaseous fuels. The What If It Finishes summary explains what will happen to the world if fossil fuels cease to exist entirely. Another method of classifying fuels is based on their occurrence - man-made fuels or natural fuels. These fuels are described as imperative to the survival of the world in this chapter. Furthermore, it explains why roads are congested and petrol pumps are overflowing.
